Low Anxiety Veterinary Visits

Veterinary visits can be stressful for your dog or cat. There are techniques that our veterinary team will employ to reduce anxiety for your pet in the clinic. Our staff have special training on how to minimize stress for cats and Fear Free handling courses.
Fortunately, many of the hands-on treatments we use are also calming, and many animals love to come for veterinary chiropractic, acupuncture, tui-na, massage or Bowtech®

What helps cats feel calm?

Stress reduction for cats begins at home, where having regular access to a carrier before the day of travel reduces fear of the carrier. Full Circle has a table in reception for cat carriers, which lifts our feline visitors off the floor, reducing investigation by other animals. A blanket can be used to cover the carrier for additional protection. In the examination room, we use a Feliway hormone diffuser to spread calming feline pheromones. Our team members are trained in low-stress patient handling techniques.
