I have always felt it was vital to share my life with animals and be guardian to them in some way and although as a young adult my employment was centered around business management in Montreal, I made time to volunteer at the local SPCA and with smaller rescue groups. Eventually I left the city and the business world to start a project of my own and I have been working in the animal care field for over 20 years now as the owner of a boarding/daycare and grooming business. I have been involved in dog rescue throughout that time and 6 years ago applied that experience by starting a special-needs dog rescue, Misfit Manor Dog Rescue, which helps dogs who have mobility and health issues as well as senior dogs. My compassion for animals has evolved greatly over time leading me to be compassionate towards all animals and to a vegan lifestyle.
As a canine caregiver, I have always continued educating myself in alternative and supportive care so I could be a better provider for the animals I am fortunate to spend time with. I became familiar with Full Circle Veterinary when seeking ways to help support the dogs in my foster care as well as my own pets and over the years have experienced first hand what supplemental vet care can achieve.
When an opportunity at the Full Circle in the Valley location presented itself, I was happy to join the team.
